Senior IT Support Engineer - EPOS
Morgan McKinley has partnered with a leading provider of bespoke Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) and multichannel ticketing solutions as they looking for a seasoned EPOS Software Support Engineer.
In this role you will be the go-to expert for thier clients in retail, hospitality, and tourism. You'll handle escalated technical issues, mentor junior engineers, and ensure our EPOS systems run seamlessly.
What you'll do:
Lead resolution of complex EPOS software, database, and integration issues
Support installations, upgrades, and training for clients
Work closely with dev teams and vendors to fix bugs and enhance systems
Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and document best practices
Drive system reliability and customer satisfaction
What you bring:
Strong experience with EPOS systems, SQL, Windows Server & networking
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Leadership or mentoring background in support teams
Bonus: retail/hospitality IT experience, API/system integration exposure
Requirements:
Eligible to work in Ireland
Full driving license + flexibility to travel
Fluent in spoken and written English
