Our client, a premier provider of commercial, industrial, and high-density residential HVAC systems in Ireland, is looking for a Sales Manager to lead their branch operations.
As the Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind the branch's sales office and trade counter. Your mission is to deliver sustainable, profitable growth while ensuring day-to-day operations run like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support both the trade counter and internal sales office teams.
- Deliver branch sales and margin targets, focusing on both established and emerging product ranges like Air Conditioning and Facilities Management.
- Work cross-functionally with Business Development Managers, Supply Chain, and Product Managers to ensure stock availability and a coordinated customer approach.
- Maintain consistent sales routines (quotation follow-ups, order management) and utilize ERP, CRM, and Phocas data to inform decision-making.
- Develop long-standing customer relationships while leveraging branch facilities to enhance service levels.
Requirements:
- Experience leading a sales team within a technical, wholesale, or distribution environment.
- Proven experience managing both trade counter and office-based sales teams.
- Strong HVAC or mechanical product knowledge is an advantage; otherwise, you must demonstrate the ability to learn technical ranges quickly.
- High level of competence using Microsoft Office, ERP systems, CRM tools, and Phocas dashboards.
- A straightforward, professional communication style in English.
- Must have the right to live and work in the Republic of Ireland on a permanent basis.
