Morgan McKinley is partnering with a Commercial Semi State body on a Risk Analyst position based in Dublin 8 (hybrid). This is a super opportunity to work with one of Ireland's leading providers in which you will play a critical role in the business, operating in a highly compliant & fast‑paced environment.
We are specifically seeking candidates with transport or heavy industry experience.
This is a 12 month contract.
Salary scale: €93,898 (Year 1) - €97,376 (Year 3) per annum
Key Candidate Requirements:
- Qualification and 5 years + experience in a Risk Focused role
- Technical knowledge and experience in transport or heavy industry
- Experience with traction and rolling stock maintenance/overhaul
- Understanding of technologies and environments associated with transportation
- Good understanding of commercial and legal aspects of system risk
- Understanding of the regulatory environment and systems such as CSM Risk
- Experience using risk assessment methods such as BowTie, Zonal Hazard Analysis, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Support the business as a technical risk expert to successfully manage fleet and occupational risk
- Assess and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with engineering projects
- Utilize statistical analysis and modelling techniques to quantify and prioritize Risks
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend actions to minimize project Vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data related to project risks
- Generate comprehensive risk reports and communicate findings to Stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and update risk assessments as project conditions evolve
- Assist in the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen events
- Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights on risk exposure
- Contribute to the overall risk management framework and culture within the engineering department
