Revenue Accountant

Revenue Accountant - 2 years contract

On behalf of our client, Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a qualified Revenue Accountant to join a large operational organisation on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

This role will focus on revenue analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and financial controls across large-scale passenger and ticketing systems. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and operational teams to deliver accurate reporting, investigate revenue trends and variances, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic revenue reports and performance analysis
• Analyse passenger, ticketing, and fare data to identify trends and variances
• Support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and optimisation initiatives
• Prepare period-end journals and reconciliations
• Produce financial reporting packs for management
• Support SAP reporting, data validation, and ad hoc analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders on fare, product, and system changes

Key Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in revenue accounting, financial reporting, or data analysis
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• SAP reporting experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
