Our client, a leading engineering organisation undergoing significant growth, is seeking a Recruitment Lead to oversee the end‑to‑end talent acquisition process and support the continued expansion of their workforce. This role will be instrumental in sourcing high‑quality talent, building strong pipelines, and coordinating all onboarding activity to ensure an excellent candidate and new‑starter experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter, ideally from construction, engineering, or other high‑volume technical sectors, to join a busy, collaborative HR team within a highly respected, well-established organisation. Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from role briefing through to offer and onboarding.
- Proactively source talent via LinkedIn, job boards, networks, and direct search methods.
- Screen CVs, conduct pre‑screening interviews, and coordinate interview processes in a timely, efficient manner.
- Lead all candidate communications, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Promote the organisation's culture, values, and benefits to strengthen employer brand.
- Draft and post job adverts across social media, job boards, and internal channels.
- Monitor and manage the recruitment inbox, ensuring quick and appropriate responses.
Onboarding & Administration
- Coordinate all onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and compliant start for new joiners.
- Update and maintain new‑starter data in HR systems, tracking required documentation, training certificates, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with HR and Site Teams to ensure new hires are fully prepared from day one.
- Provide support with Work Permit and Visa applications where needed.
Early Careers & Development Programmes
- Assist with the coordination and administration of the College Student Placement Programme and the Graduate Programme.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment partners.
- Manage agency engagement, including raising purchase orders and ensuring timely invoice processing.
- Maintain accurate weekly and monthly recruitment metrics and reports for senior leadership.
Process Improvement & Best Practice
- Maintain up‑to‑date recruitment trackers and ATS records.
- Stay informed on market trends, talent attraction techniques, and industry insights.
- Recommend and support initiatives to improve sourcing effectiveness, recruitment processes, and overall hiring outcomes.
- Conduct exit interviews and support quarterly and annual reporting cycles.

- Experience recruiting within construction, engineering, technical, or high‑volume environments (highly desirable).
