Role Overview: Quality Assurance - Global Markets Surveillance
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support testing and mapping activities
related to Global Markets Order Lifecycle integration with Surveillance Platform
requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed Quality Assurance testing on order and execution (fill) events to
ensure alignment with surveillance platform specifications.
Understand and validate the full lifecycle of trading events, including all relevant
economic fields required for surveillance behavior.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate mapping of data elements from
source systems to surveillance models.
Support documentation and traceability of test results and mapping logic.

This role offers a strong foundation for individuals aspiring to become Business Systems
Analysts. While the primary focus is on testing, the position also includes opportunities to
contribute to data mapping and analysis when testing is not required.
Technical Skills:
Experience with Quality Assurance Tools
Experience with generating data for regression testing, edge cases, Multiple Days (T-
1, T, T+1) testing data
Experience to quickly do assessment, use scripts or other Tools (e.g. no code
workflows) to perform sanity checks
Advanced Excel sheet knowledge to map, convert, and demostrate orders and
executions mappings
Comfortable with JSON and XML
Comfortable with SQL
Experience with FIX protocol
Nice to have Python skills
Domain Knowledge:
Global Trade Surveillance
* In-depth knowledge of trade surveillance frameworks across all asset classes, with a focus
on behavioral pattern detection, market abuse monitoring and familiar with Material Non-
Public Information(MNPI)
Global Markets Order Lifecycle
* Strong understanding of order lifecycle management and execution workflows across
asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income (FI), FX, Commodities, and Rates.
* Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Execution Management Systems
(EMS), as well as trading venues such as SEFs, MTFs, and ECNs.
* Understanding of the Communication Protocols (FIX, OUCH, SWIFT, FPML)
