Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a leading infrastructure delivery firm to recruit an experienced Project Manager for a major, high-value infrastructure project based in Dublin.
This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to work on one of Ireland's most ambitious infrastructure programmes. The successful candidate will have full oversight of project execution-from mobilisation to final handover-and will be instrumental in managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring best-in-class delivery, and driving safety, compliance, and performance.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing all phases of project execution-from mobilisation through to completion-ensuring the delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of a large-scale infrastructure project, ensuring programme, budget, quality, and compliance targets are met.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including engineers, consultants, contractors, and government bodies.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, cost forecasts, procurement schedules, and risk registers.
- Oversee compliance with all relevant legislation, including Irish construction regulations, health & safety, and environmental standards.
- Provide leadership to on-site and office-based project teams, promoting a collaborative, safety-first culture.
- Report regularly to senior management and key stakeholders on project progress, risks, and milestones,
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in project management roles within large-scale infrastructure or public works.
- Strong commercial awareness and proven budgetary control.
- Familiarity with public sector procurement and project governance in Ireland.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable.
