We are looking for a skilled Project/Equipment Engineer to manage and execute technical projects within the vial filling area. This role involves supporting equipment qualification, optimising maintenance programs, and collaborating across teams to implement process improvements and resolve equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage assigned technical projects from concept through design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to scope projects and ensure all requirements are met.
- Support new product and process introductions, providing troubleshooting and on-the-floor support.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs, optimise spare parts inventory, and manage change controls.
- Contribute to Root Cause and Cross-Functional Investigations.
- Create detailed engineering documents, specifications, protocols, and SOPs.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, project engineers, and vendors, for equipment upgrades and retrofits.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company policies.
- Support a safe working environment and comply with health/safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the biotechnology or aseptic pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven project management experience, with hands-on technical expertise in high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience in technology transfer, change control, and GDP-compliant environments is preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and document management systems.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
