Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Team Lead / Manager to oversee and scale an engineering team responsible for core fund administration capabilities. Reporting to the Engineering Lead in Dublin and collaborating with teams across Dublin and London, this is a hands-on technical management role focused on building end-to-end solutions from shareholder registers to NAV production across a modern enterprise technology stack.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of technical design and implementation across core platform capabilities.
- Deliver robust, well-engineered technical solutions integrated directly into the core product line.
- Translate complex domain requirements-such as shareholder dealing, settlement, accounting periods, valuations, and NAV production-into scalable software architecture.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers across varying levels of seniority.
- Work closely with clients, domain experts, and product leadership to shape and prioritize product roadmaps.
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts across distributed teams and multiple time zones.
Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial experience using C# to build enterprise software in a distributed environment.
- Proven experience in a software engineering leadership or management role, developing technical talent.
- Hands-on expertise delivering domain-specific financial software (Shareholder Registers, Transfer Agency (TA), or Fund Accounting platforms).
- Deep understanding of operational workflows, value chains, and regulatory contexts within fund administration or asset servicing.
- Practical experience integrating AI tools and LLMs into daily development workflows.
- Strong technical background with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and SQL (PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server).
- Proven track record of managing project scope, risk, dependencies, and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication skills for navigating discussions with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
