Morgan McKinley has exclusively partnered with a well-established tech company in the healthcare sector that's looking to hire an IT Support Engineer to join their growing team.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on support role for someone who has experience in customer-facing environments and wants to be part of a team delivering critical IT services to pharmacy customers nationwide. You'll support newly launched pharmacy software solutions used for managing daily operations and customer transactions, helping users navigate these tools effectively while diagnosing and resolving technical issues both remotely and during occasional on-site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line support for PMR and POS systems used across a wide pharmacy network.
- Liaise with field engineers to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Manage customer issues through a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics365-based).
- Set up and onboard new pharmacy customers on software platforms.
- Occasionally travel on-site for support, installations, or issue resolution.
- Support out-of-hours data migration projects as needed.
What You Need to Have:
- Strong communication and phone skills.
- 2-3 years of IT support experience, ideally in a retail or customer-centric environment.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience managing/supporting web-based or Windows applications.
- Strong organisational skills and initiative.
Desirables:
- Experience supporting retail systems (EPOS, ordering platforms, etc.).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics365 CRM.
- Exposure to data migration projects or customer onboarding.
Other Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Full, clean driving licence.
