Key Responsibilities
The Human Resources Officer will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's HR function by:

Employee Relations (ER) & Industrial Relations (IR):
- Providing guidance on employment law and best practices.
- Managing case loads of ER/IR issues.
- Coaching and mentoring line managers on HR-related matters.

Performance Management:
- Overseeing updates to the performance development review system.
- Supporting managers in addressing absenteeism and implementing corrective measures.

Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Managing recruitment processes across multiple levels.
- Ensuring a seamless selection process, including monitoring probationary periods.

Workforce Development:
- Contributing to staff development projects across all levels.
- Supporting workforce planning and process optimisation.

Health and Safety:
- Collaborating with supervisors to integrate health, safety, and welfare into HR practices.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Maintaining accurate HR records and adhering to review protocols.
- Responding to internal and external information requests within defined deadlines.

Research and Analysis:
- Conducting HR-related research and analysing staffing data to inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- CIPD qualified or eligible for CIPD certification.
Professional Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in HR practices, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employment legislation.
- Strong understanding of Irish Employment Law and its applications.
- Proven ability to provide professional HR advice and manage responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
