Brilliant opportunity for a Senior Finance Professional to join a public-sector organisation as Head of Finance.
This is a newly established strategic role, reporting directly to the CEO, with responsibility for leading the organisation's Finance and Facilities functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in strategic decision-making, organisational development, governance and the delivery of major projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, Board and senior leadership team.
- Lead and develop the Finance, Procurement and Facilities functions.
- Oversee financial governance, risk management and management information.
- Lead the preparation of annual accounts, budgets and financial reporting.
- Ensure strong financial, contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement, transformation and process optimisation.
- Oversee procurement strategy, governance and value-for-money initiatives.
- Lead the implementation of new finance, payroll, property and related systems.
- Oversee facilities, property, assets and associated operational requirements.
- Manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of the organisation's strategic objectives and long-term plans.
- Develop high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching and collaboration.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified accountant
- A minimum of 5 years' senior leadership experience across finance or related functions.
- Strong strategic planning and financial management experience.
- Proven experience leading teams and delivering organisational change.
- A track record of delivering complex projects and improving processes.
- Strong financial governance, risk and compliance experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with senior leadership teams and Boards.
