Brilliant opportunity for a qualified accountant to join an industry leading MNC in North Dublin as a Financial Analyst.
As the successful applicant you play a critical role within a high performing commercial finance team, providing vital financial support and insights to drive the commercial success of the organisation. This position involves detailed financial analysis, modelling, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyse financial data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Develop financial models to project future financial performance.
- Prepare and distribute regular financial reports, including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Monitor and report on budget variances, highlighting key drivers and proposing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with business units and to develop accurate forecasts and budgets.
- Analyse OPEX, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Automate and improve financial processes where possible.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 1-3 years PQE within an industry role
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective collaboration skills, able to work cross-functionally with non-finance colleagues
