Our client, a global leader in the pharma industry is looking for a Financial Accountant to join them on a 6 month temporary basis.
This role is integral for their global consolidation process and financial reporting, requiring technical expertise in US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and corporate accounting operations.
With offices in Dublin 15, they are operating with a hybrid working model (2 days onsite) and offering a competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, and audit.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives within corporate accounting.
- Analyze corporate spending variances and support the budgeting process.
- Manage internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
- Support internal and external audit requests.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Accounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in SAP (HFM experience a plus).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
