A leading business services company is currently searching for a Finance Analyst to join their growing team with a strong focus on business partnering, financial analysis and commercial decision-making.
The key requirement is someone who can go beyond producing the numbers. You'll be expected to understand the story behind the numbers, work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, challenge performance and provide meaningful financial insight to support decision-making.
The hiring manager is looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and confident partnering with stakeholders. Someone who will build relationships across the business, ask the right questions and take ownership of improving how finance supports the wider organisation.
The role will involve:
* Partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders.
* Providing financial insight and analysis to support business decisions.
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting.
* Analysing performance, costs, margins and key business drivers.
* Preparing management accounts and performance reporting.
* Challenging variances and working with stakeholders to understand the underlying drivers.
* Identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and processes.
* Developing more streamlined and effective reporting and forecasting tools.
The ideal profile:
* Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
* Experience across FP&A, management accounting, financial analysis or business partnering.
* Strong analytical and Excel skills.
* Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams.
* Commercially curious and able to understand the wider business beyond the numbers.
* Strong communicator who can turn financial analysis into clear commercial insight.
