I am currently recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer on behalf of a leading M&E engineering contractor to support the delivery of HV substation and grid connection projects across Dublin and Ireland.
The Role
This is a technically focused role working on High Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure, supporting project teams from design through installation, testing, and commissioning.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the delivery of HV substation and grid connection projects

Coordinating HV electrical design, technical submittals, and procurement

Ensuring all works are delivered in line with ESB Networks specifications and standards

Supporting site teams during HV installation, testing, and commissioning

Managing project documentation, quality, and handover requirements
Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
-
Proven experience working on HV projects (substations / grid connections)

Strong experience working to ESB Networks or Eirgrid specifications (essential or highly desirable)

Experience within an M&E or electrical contractor environment

Strong organisational and communication skills
