Our client is an digitally led finance organisation with innovation at its core. They are adding a permanent digital product owner to the existing team. This role is focussed on supporting and driving customer experience. The role requires an individual who will align strategic and commercial objectives.
Job Description
The Digital Product Owner will have responsibility for the ownership of the current end to end digital journeys and the creation of new digital journeys to improve our client's end customer user experience.
The Digital Product Owner will play a key role in gathering and documenting technical and business requirements ensuring robust and efficient processes through effective stakeholder management, ensuring successful integration internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Digital Transformation projects from ideation through to implementation.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the roadmap for new features and optimisation to drive online sales.
- Conduct key in depth business analysis to identify digital opportunities including business cases and present for Senior Management approval.
- Engage and collaborate between departments to ensure that all Digital journeys and Services are seamlessly implemented balancing the business goals and customer needs.
- Support back-office process automation.
- Ensure that new digital initiatives are delivered with the best possible customer experience.
- Provide status updates, to ensure deadlines are being met, highlighting risks and issues as they arise.
- Display continuous learning and curiosity for new digital innovations and their application to our digital strategy.
- Demonstrate our client's values and behaviours in your day-to-day work and address behaviour that supports/conflicts with them.
Key Role Requirements
- Degree in Business, Strategy, Finance or related discipline.
- 3-5 years' relevant work experience in digital development/product ownership with a knowledge of current and future trends.
- Customer-focused and passionate about delivering the best possible customer experience.
- Proven track record of delivering high profile complex projects that involve multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and may have acted in a digital role in this sector previously, potentially as a product owner.
- Ability to present and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, the ability to work on own initiative and handle multiple competing priorities and re-prioritise as required in an agile environment.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
