We have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a leading FMCG organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role offers the chance to work within a high-performing and collaborative team, gaining valuable exposure to key commercial functions and enhancing your financial analysis skills. You'll report to the Senior Commercial Manager, supporting the organisation's key accounts and playing a vital role in driving business performance.
You'll also collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Finance, Head of FP&A, and the wider management team.
This position offers an excellent hybrid working model, 2 days on-site and 3 days from home, with on-site parking available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating across divisions to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Identify key performance drivers and their influence on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic sales planning.
- Support strategic initiatives focused on optimising key commercial levers.
- Analyse performance data to provide clear, insightful updates to stakeholders.
- Drive the development of commercial reporting tools to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Support the organic store business, with a focus on online and in-store performance, and, where relevant, category margin analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Highly numerate, with excellent data analysis and interpretation abilities
