Automation Manufacturing Engineer

A global medical device manufacturer is seeking an Automation or Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve automated production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and optimise automated manufacturing lines to improve safety, quality, and output
• Deliver engineering projects, including equipment upgrades and facility modifications
• Troubleshoot automation and minimise downtime across production lines
• Maintain engineering, validation, and change documentation
• Monitor production performance and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Engineering qualification (Associate's required, Bachelor's preferred)
• 3+ years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of automation, quality systems, and compliance standards (cGMP, FDA, ISO)
• Medical device or pharmaceutical experience desirable

Key details:

• Duration: 6 month contract - likely to extend to 12
• Hours: 40 hours a week
• Location: onsite role in Dublin with some hybrid opportunity
• Competitive hourly rate dependent on experience
