A successful Irish business based in Dublin West is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a super opportunity to step into an Irish business that forms part of a larger global Group that is making a large impact in the Irish market.

This is a permanent, hybrid role (3 days in office), offering an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, international manufacturing environment.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting while leading and managing accounting teams. This role works closely with Financial Planning & Control, Shared Service Centres and Corporate Accounting to ensure efficient processes, strong internal controls, and high-quality financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop the accounting team for the Irish entity
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
Monitor and maintain Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Work closely with Financial Planning & Control to support reporting
Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and accounting automation
Ensure compliance with statutory, IFRS standards and tax regulations
Collaborate with operational and support departments to optimise financial operations and support organisational goals.
Required Skills & Experience
Qualified Accountant
Minimum 7 years' Accounting experience, including at least 3 years managing and developing teams
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Proven people leadership experience in a complex accounting environment
Experience with ERP systems (preferably MS Dynamics 365 or SAP) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional integrity
Prior ERP implementation experience is an advantage
Hours of Work & Location
Hybrid model: 3 days on-site / 2 days WFH (8am - 4pm)
5 days per week on-site for onboarding for the first month
