Accountant

We are partnering with a well-established international services organisation to recruit a General Ledger Accountant to join their Dublin-based finance team.

This is a hands-on role within a busy finance function, offering strong exposure to month-end, balance sheet ownership, and financial reporting within a multi-entity environment.

The Role

• Take ownership of general ledger accounting across multiple entities

• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments

• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items

• Support the month-end and year-end close processes to tight deadlines

• Assist with management accounts preparation and financial reporting

• Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to queries

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies

• Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

• Strong general ledger and month-end experience in an industry or shared services environment

• Solid understanding of balance sheet control and reconciliations

• Experience working in a multi-entity or high-volume environment

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems

• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven role

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
