    ** Important: This role will require you to participate in an on-call rotating schedule where you will work two weekend shifts on a 4-6 week rotation. This is a hybrid role with 50% onsite requirement in Cork**

    We're looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the delivery and support of critical IAM authentication services. This role blends technical expertise, leadership, and operational oversight, ensuring secure, seamless, and 24/7 access to enterprise systems. You'll guide a global team, shape IAM strategy, and keep mission-critical services running at scale.


    What You'll Do

    • Lead and mentor IAM engineers, fostering growth, innovation, and operational discipline.
    • Act as the escalation point for incidents, outages, and technical challenges.
    • Oversee IAM operations (incident, change, and problem management) with a focus on authentication platforms.
    • Maintain and optimize systems such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta.
    • Ensure compliance, patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
    • Partner with IT, security, and business stakeholders to deliver secure identity services.
    • Support audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in structured on-call rotations (weekends/holidays) to support 24/7 resilience, with allowances and premiums provided.


    What You Bring

    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in IAM operations and delivery.
    • Strong background in Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, and authentication/federation protocols (MFA, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, OIDC, certificate-based auth).
    • Experience with ITSM practices (ITIL).
    • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with distributed/global teams.
    • Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure) and security best practices (preferred)
    • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) (preferred)
    • Track record of driving innovation and process improvements in IAM (preferred)
