Technical Document Controller

Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 DOE
My client is a growing logistics company seeking an experienced Technical Document Controller to support its expanding operations. This is a key role within the team, ideal for someone with strong document control experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of technical and project documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility across the department. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients, you'll play a central role in keeping projects running smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient flow of technical information
- Manage and control all documentation (digital and hard copy) from creation through to archiving
- Review client test protocols and provide clear feedback to the testing team
- Prepare and maintain test documentation such as worksheets, inspection forms, and test sequences
- Create clear, compliant test reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Upload and organise test images, calibration records, and related files
- Support quote preparation by analysing technical requirements and specifications
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring documentation meets required standards
About You
- Experience: 3+ years in document control, ideally in pharmaceutical, medical device, engineering, or a similar regulated environment
- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and SharePoint); experience with ERP or EDMS systems is highly desirable
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 17025, ISTA, or ASTM standards is an advantage
- Communication: Strong written and verbal English, with the ability to interpret technical documents
- Personal Attributes: Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Client Focus: Professional and proactive in dealing with stakeholders, with strong relationship-building skills
