As part of their ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team.
The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and timely dispatch of goods across multiple markets. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong knowledge of logistics processes and SAP. The successful candidate will manage the shipping function, liaise with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with international transport regulations.
Coordinate and manage the weekly shipping plan, ensuring the right resources are in place.
Mentor, coach, and develop the shipping team to maintain high performance and technical proficiency.
Build and maintain strong expertise in SAP Warehouse, Inventory Management, and Shipping modules.
Work closely with Logistics, Production, Planning, Finance, QA, as well as international transport teams in Europe, China, and the USA.
Prepare daily and weekly shipments of finished goods, ensuring all documentation (DG and non-DG) is complete and accurate.
Manage shipments to 3rd party manufacturers, external test facilities, and Pleasant Grove (USA) while ensuring inventory integrity.
Hold IMDG Air and Ocean certification and ensure full compliance with shipping regulations.
Participate in daily and weekly operations planning meetings and customer shipping reviews.
Ensure accuracy in paperwork and implement best-practice packing methodologies.
Investigate and resolve inventory transaction errors promptly.
Report weekly on shipping activities, including movements, cycle counts, and inventory value.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement process improvements.
Manage the performance, objectives, and career development of direct reports where applicable.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain at a team-lead or coordinator level.
Degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing (desirable).
Strong SAP experience, ideally in Warehouse, Inventory Management, and Shipping modules.
IMDG Air and Ocean certification.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in a fast-paced, international distribution environment is highly advantageous.
