Joining a world-class Global Engineering & Technology team, you will drive the successful lifecycle delivery of new engineering projects at a state-of-the-art Innovative Medicine manufacturing facility. This is a high-visibility role requiring an agile engineer capable of balancing cross-functional leadership with hands-on technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Lifecycle Management: Lead engineering projects from initial scoping and capital approval through to commissioning, qualification, and final close-out-ensuring alignment with timeline, budget, and business milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Function as a strategic partner across site departments (Operations, Quality, MSAT, Maintenance). Coordinate project interfaces, manage third-party vendors, and lead cross-functional teams to resolve equipment or process issues.
- Controls & Reporting: Manage project cost estimation, forecasting, scheduling, and risk management. Maintain high-quality project documentation (including P&IDs) in strict compliance with GDP.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all project activities, deviations, and investigations are executed to the highest standards of cGMP, regulatory compliance, and EHS policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Education: Third-level degree in an Engineering or Science discipline.
- Experience: 3+ years of engineering experience specifically within an API Pharmaceutical / GMP regulated environment.
- Track Record: Proven experience successfully scoping and delivering capital engineering projects.
Desirable:
- Formal qualification in Project Management.
- Training in Continuous Improvement / Problem-Solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
- Experience navigating a multinational corporate engineering environment.
