Senior Financial Analyst - Cork - Onsite - Permanent

Our client is a global organisation with a strong manufacturing footprint. This role sits within a key operational site and focuses on financial control and performance support.

Role

Responsible for the reporting, control, and forecasting of overhead and operational costs, this position acts as a finance business partner to operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams. The role focuses on improving cost visibility, supporting decision-making, and identifying efficiency opportunities. It also includes fixed asset management and supporting cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end close for operational cost lines, including accruals, journals, and variance analysis
• Preparation of monthly cost reports with clear insight into performance
• Support budgeting and rolling forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting
• Cashflow forecasting and cost allocation
• Business partnering with cross-functional teams and ad hoc analysis

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Relevant post-qualified experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel
• Ability to work independently and across teams
• Manufacturing or operational experience beneficial
