Senior Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

Team & Project Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of up to six engineers, delivering large-scale process skid projects or multiple smaller systems concurrently.

• Take overall responsibility for successful project delivery, including schedule, cost, and quality performance.

• Coordinate across process, mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines.

• Manage and support the drafting team to ensure delivery of high-quality drawings.

• Handle material and subcontractor procurement and coordination.

• Support system commissioning and ensure smooth project handover documentation.

• Promote and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Quality policies.

Customer & Commercial Management

• Act as a key point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships through proactive and responsive communication.

• Contribute to commercial activities such as contract management, pricing, and quotation preparation.

People Development

• Foster collaboration within project teams and lead by example to achieve successful outcomes.

• Support the development and mentoring of graduate and junior engineers.

• Demonstrate excellent communication, listening, and leadership skills.

Experience, Qualifications & Personal Attributes

• 10+ years of process engineering experience in biotechnology, beverage/brewery, or dairy industries.

• Proven experience in the design, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning of process equipment such as CIP systems, chromatography units, filtration skids, or equivalent.
