We're seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance individual to join a growing business with an established ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of quality processes, drive continuous improvement and work closely with colleagues across the business to strengthen compliance, efficiency and best practice.
As part of a small, supportive team, collaboration is essential. You'll work with colleagues at every level, providing guidance, training and practical solutions that help maintain high standards while fostering a culture of quality throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the review and redevelopment of the company's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) system, ensuring documentation is clear, current and aligned with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Deliver engaging training and support to employees, ensuring all team members understand and consistently follow documented procedures.
- Develop, implement and maintain effective Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes to support continuous improvement.
- Introduce and embed 5S/7S methodologies across office, workshop and warehouse environments to improve organisation, efficiency and workplace standards.
- Manage customer and supplier evaluation processes, supporting quality, compliance and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Create a comprehensive onboarding quality pack to ensure new employees are equipped with the knowledge and documentation they need from day one.
- Review and audit document control procedures, identifying opportunities to strengthen compliance and efficiency.
- Audit training records to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with quality standards.
- Support internal audits and contribute to the ongoing development of the Quality Management System.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
About You
You'll be an organised, detail-oriented quality professional who enjoys improving processes and influencing positive change. You'll be comfortable working independently while building strong relationships across a close-knit team.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 accredited environment.
- A strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and document control.
- Experience developing or reviewing SOPs and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of CAPA processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience delivering training and supporting colleagues in adopting new processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to identify opportunities for improvement and see them through to implementation.
Why Join?
This role offers the opportunity to genuinely shape and enhance the organisation's quality systems rather than simply maintaining them. You'll enjoy variety, autonomy and the chance to work closely with a supportive team where your expertise will be recognised and your contributions will have a tangible impact on the business.
