Maintenance Team Leader - Manufacturing

Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing company to recruit a Maintenance Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to take a key leadership role within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.
The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Team Leader will support the efficient and safe running of the maintenance function. You will lead daily maintenance activities, support continuous improvement initiatives through the Integrated Work Systems (IWS) framework, and take on full management responsibilities in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance Lead, driving a culture of continuous improvement and coaching cross-functional teams.
Deputise for the Maintenance Manager, ensuring seamless operation of maintenance activities.
Coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks to minimise production downtime and ensure effective resource allocation.
Oversee the execution of both planned and reactive maintenance activities in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
Participate in regular team meetings to align with operational goals and company objectives.
Requirements:
City & Guilds qualification or equivalent, with an electrical background preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience in a maintenance or engineering setting.
Strong people management and coaching skills.
Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage schedules, prioritise tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
