Legal Executive

Key Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a legal executive or similar legal role.
• At least 5 years' experience in litigation, specifically personal injury matters.
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court rules, and litigation processes.
• Excellent drafting, research, analytical, and case management skills.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently, prioritise deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee personal injury litigation matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and court submissions.
• Conduct legal research and provide support on complex legal matters and litigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, barristers, insurers, courts, and other relevant parties.
• Monitor case progress, manage deadlines, maintain accurate files, and ensure compliance with court rules and legal procedures.
• Negotiate settlements where appropriate and provide effective support to ensure matters are resolved efficiently and in clients' best interests.
