IGA SecOp Engineer

My client is looking for an IGA SecOp Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Identity & Access Management (IAM) services, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  
  
• Monitor identity governance platforms to ensure performance, availability, and overall system health.
  
  
• Troubleshoot system issues, respond to alerts, and implement timely resolutions to minimise downtime.
  
  
• Maintain and update IAM systems, ensuring patching, security updates, and configuration management are up to date.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders to support service delivery and continuous improvement.
  
  
• Perform root cause analysis, maintain documentation, and support audit and compliance activities related to identity services.
  
  

Key Skills & Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, including provisioning, access management, and identity governance (IGA).
  
  
• Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and security best practices.
  
  
• Experience with IAM tools such as Microsoft Identity Manager, Entra ID, SailPoint, or similar platforms.
  
  
• Scripting or development experience with languages such as PowerShell, Python, Node.js, or PHP.
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure) and associated security controls.
  
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
