General Administrator
Location: Douglas, Cork
Salary: 35K - 38K
Hours: Monday to Friday, fully onsite
This is a hands-on and varied administrative role supporting multiple departments including the Finance Team, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics.
You'll be the go to person who helps keep things running smoothly across teams: coordinating documentation, supporting purchasing and logistics processes, chasing updates, arranging travel, and helping wherever an extra pair of hands is needed.
This role suits someone who thrives in a busy office environment, enjoys variety, and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across several departments including Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and Accounts Payable.
- Manage and send documentation to clients and customers as required.
- Assist with freight and logistics coordination - booking commercial freight, carriages, and managing customs documentation.
- Chase updates and resolve documentation or customs issues to avoid shipment delays.
- Help investigate and follow up on issues raised by team members (e.g., order queries, documentation gaps, or shipping delays).
- Support the Finance Team during busy periods
- Coordinate internal office tasks - booking flights, hotels, arranging events, ordering stationery, etc.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across departments.

- Experience having supported a financial department previously not required but highly advantageous
- Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple teams.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
