Dispatch Coordinator

My client a leader in the agricultural industry are seeking to hire a Dispatch Coordinator immediately to join their team in Cork City.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to support the manufacturing and sales teams. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will collaborate with office and logistics administrators both on-site and across other factory and warehouse locations. You will also work closely with external logistics providers and engage with the merchant trade.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations while building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, contributing to the overall success of the company.

This is a full time permanent role based on full time on site near Cork city. Flexibility of working hours will be required from time to time. Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics, including scheduling collections and deliveries of raw materials and finished products.
• Arrange haulage for unloading raw materials from ships.
• Oversee the dispatch and weighbridge processes, including administrative tasks for shipping.
• Maintain effective stock control to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and manage expectations.
• Prepare weekly payroll, monitor annual leave, and compile sales reports.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Basic experience in transport logistics.
• Proficient in IT, including familiarity with relevant software tools.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
