    About the Role

    We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (Contract) to support ongoing infrastructure and deployment initiatives across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipeline development, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient software delivery.

    This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering teams on high-impact projects, driving improvements in reliability, automation, and DevOps best practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.

    • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.

    • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

    • Automate routine operational tasks and deployment processes using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

    • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions.

    • Ensure security, compliance, and availability across all environments.

    • Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment workflows and release quality.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.

    • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.

    • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).

    • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or equivalent.

    • Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.

    • Experience managing monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).

    • Understanding of networking, security, and version control (Git).

    Nice to Have

    • Familiarity with Helm, Ansible, or Puppet/Chef for configuration management.

    • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

    • Exposure to serverless architectures or microservices.

    • Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
