About the Role
We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (Contract) to support ongoing infrastructure and deployment initiatives across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipeline development, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient software delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering teams on high-impact projects, driving improvements in reliability, automation, and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Automate routine operational tasks and deployment processes using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions.

Ensure security, compliance, and availability across all environments.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve deployment workflows and release quality.
Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.

Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.

Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).

Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or equivalent.

Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.

Experience managing monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).

Understanding of networking, security, and version control (Git).
Nice to Have

Familiarity with Helm, Ansible, or Puppet/Chef for configuration management.

Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

Exposure to serverless architectures or microservices.

Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
