Morgan McKinley is partnering with a growing Irish multinational to recruit a Senior Sustainability Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where sustainability is a strategic priority and play a key role in delivering its carbon reduction and ESG ambitions.
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability & Supply Chain, you will lead the organisation's carbon transition planning, Science Based Targets initiative programme, CSRD readiness and sustainability reporting, while driving continuous improvement across ESG performance and responsible sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual calculation and reporting of Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions in line with the GHG Protocol.
- Develop, implement and monitor the organisation's Climate Transition Plan and support SBTi target validation.
- Lead CSRD readiness, including ESG reporting processes, governance and external assurance.
- Manage the annual EcoVadis assessment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the internal sustainability expert on ESG reporting, climate risk and evolving EU regulations.
- Prepare ESG performance reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
- Oversee the supplier sustainability audit programme and engage with suppliers to improve Scope 3 emissions performance.
About You
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
- 7+ years' experience in corporate sustainability or ESG, including experience in a senior or lead role.
- Strong experience in carbon accounting, climate transition planning, SBTi, CSRD/ESRS reporting and sustainability ratings.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
