Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Shannon to recruit a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to further develop their industry experience within a well-established and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across the finance function, working closely with senior finance stakeholders and supporting key month-end and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting
- Support audit and compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively across the wider finance team on process improvements and ad hoc projects
Ideal Profile
- Newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant
- Previous industry experience preferred, even if less than one year
- Exposure to accounts payable and receivable processes
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
