This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to develop and deliver the organisation's overall marketing and brand strategy, with a strong focus on passenger growth, commercial performance and long-term business objectives.
The successful candidate will lead a marketing team and work closely with senior leadership, airline partners, tourism bodies and regional stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns and support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall marketing and brand strategy in line with corporate objectives.
- Lead, motivate and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage annual marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Lead digital marketing, brand management, market research, communications and campaign delivery.
- Develop robust marketing metrics and reporting frameworks to measure campaign performance and inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with airline partners on route launches and promotional campaigns to build awareness and stimulate demand.
- Work closely with tourism agencies, local authorities and regional stakeholders to support inbound tourism and travel demand.
- Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, media partners and service providers.
- Use customer insights, analytics and market research to optimise marketing effectiveness.
- Support commercial initiatives across areas including retail, food and beverage, parking and other revenue streams.
- Present marketing performance, insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 10+ years' experience across marketing, advertising, account or project management, with at least 3 years' experience in a leadership position.
- Third-level qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, or substantial relevant experience.
- Proven experience developing and delivering strategic marketing plans that have contributed to business growth.
- Strong experience leading and motivating cross-functional marketing teams.
- Excellent understanding of digital and social media, direct marketing, PR, advertising and brand management across both corporate and consumer markets.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience using data, research and customer insights to drive marketing decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong project management, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative, commercially minded and proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
