A major Irish engineering company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead high-value mechanical construction projects in Belgium. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage project teams, subcontractors, and execution plans from start to finish, delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do:

Lead project teams including engineers, site supervisors, and craft personnel.

Manage subcontractor scope, schedules, costs, and quality on-site.

Oversee Health & Safety compliance and ensure QA/QC standards are met.

Coordinate prefabrication, construction planning, and progress reporting.

Work closely with Quantity Surveyors on budgeting, variations, and contract management.

Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Who We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on construction projects.

5+ years as a senior mechanical/project engineer in construction.

Hands-on experience with piping, equipment installation, pressure testing, and mechanical fabrication.

Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Semiconductor, or Oil & Gas sectors preferred.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or equivalent; PMP/IPMA qualification an advantage.

Strong leadership, planning, communication, and negotiation skills.

Personable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
