Job Description

Fantastic Louth based company are looking for their new Quality Engineering Manager, to lead quality processes on their site

Permanent | Louth | 55,000 - 60,000

THE ROLE

You will be managing all quality processes on site, including developing and sustaining the companies QA programme. This role is based in a fantastic metals design and manufacturing company based in Louth. Your role will work alongside different departments and work alongside senior staff to implement quality policy and act as Quality SME on site.

THE RESPONSIBILITES

  • Write, monitor, and maintain quality procedures to ensure compliance with specified national and international standards. Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO and CE or other specified criteria: monitor, sanitise and analyse non-conformance and corrective action data to provide visibility on performance.
  • Compile project quality plans and dossiers to ensure and demonstrate compliance with company and customer requirements; review / approve and file quality control documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures and maintain records, and liaise and assist customers on quality issues to ensure project requirements are met in line with customer expectations.
  • Comply with the requirements of CE Marking and ISO certification, the company safety statement and all quality, health and safety procedures that have been implemented as part of the PRO Stainless QHS Management Systems.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Level 8 Degree, preferably mechanical engineering or other related field
  • 3-5 years experience across quality and mechanical engineering
  • Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of quality assurance/control expertise gained in a mechanical engineering environment.
  • Have solid experience of working with ISO9001 and CE Marking 1090.
  • Good understanding of quality plans, auditing, and compiling quality dossiers are essential.
  • Previous experience working in the manufacturing of stainless steel or metals would be desired for this role.
