Job Description

Great new opportunity to join a leading medical devices company in Limerick as a Project Manager on an initial 12 month contract, with room for extension.

Hourly rate negotiable, dependant on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide site production equipment obsolescence leadership within a high volume, fully automated manufacturing environment.
  • Provide engineering leadership and support in managing, developing new / improving existing obsolete equipment process management.
  • Chairing of weekly Obsolescence team meetings
  • Budget and Budgeting management
  • Follow-up with Engineering SMEs (equipment owners) on status of items
  • Champion for Equipment Obsolescence (governance, oversight and escalation/communication to SLT / Stakeholders)
  • Creating / managing / reporting relevant KPIs (eg impact on unplanned downtimes across the fleet)
  • New equipment requirements (URS input) with regard to Obsolescence

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or a related field of study.
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role within a GMP regulated environment.
  • Experience with asset management preferable.
  • Free to work in Ireland with no visa restrictions.
