Job Description

Currently recruiting for the position of Finance Manager with a leading Multinational based Co. Galway.

Excellent salary and additional benefits. As the Finance Manager you will take full responsibility for leading and supporting the Finance team. You will also contribute to the strategic operations and growth plans of this highly successful Multinational.

This is a superb opportunity for someone with an in-depth knowledge of the month end reporting process, budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting looking to develop their career with a really proactive and growing company with management responsibilities.

The successful candidate has to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role and will be responsible for the development and management of the Accounts Payable, Treasury and Tax functions for the entities within the Group structure reporting to the VP.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for Accounting & Reporting for a number of entities for the group
  • Preparation of Group monthly reporting package
  • Preparation of Annual Budgets
  • Preparation of Quarterly Forecasts
  • Liaising with Auditors and Tax Advisors in different countries
  • Control of annual budget, monthly forecasting and target setting
  • Full responsibility for the management of a large finance team
  • Ongoing process improvement to develop the role to new levels
  • Developing reports and implementing system changes
  • Provision of Management Information Reports and KPI's for management
  • Complete monthly financial close out
  • Assisting with the year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
  • Assisting in the annual budgeting process

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong people management experience is a must
  • Strong technical tax and audit experience along with multi-currency / multi entity exposure
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership and responsibility for the role from an early stage
  • Quick learner with good time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Works under pressure, deadline orientated and flexible working attitude
