Job Description

I am delighted to be collaborating with my client, a global biopharmaceutical company, seeking a Vendor Manager in Quality systems to join their team in Waterford.

This is a permanent role within a company focused on improving patients' lives through research and innovation when it comes to drug products that treat autoimmune and severe inflammatory diseases.

The person is responsible for supporting the maintenance and management of the Vendor management system and ensure it is efficient for operations and supporting functions. You will action to correct quality and compliance concerns and inform as appropriate through the leadership team.

The successful candidate will have a degree in chemistry, biology, or a science/engineering related discipline with 7+ years' experience working in a quality or manufacturing environment in a similar role. Experience in biologics an advantage. Extensive experience previously with ERP systems and management and qualification of vendors essential. Previous auditing experience is desirable. This is a customer orientated role so excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must for this role

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, establish and quality vendors as per supplier management program.
  • Audit of vendors for qualification and requalification.
  • Ensure customers and technical agreements are implemented and maintains according to established procedures.
  • Management of vendor complaints, deviations, CAPAs and change controls.
  • Supporting development projects and tech transfers of new products.
  • Establish specification for incoming material for tech transfer and new products.
  • Management of SAP data changes.
  • Provide operation support of quality documentation system.
  • Promote positive safety culture.
  • Conducting internal audits.
