My client, an established leader in their field, is currently seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Manager to join their team.
Maintain and grow current sales to active customer base as defined by MD
Develop both new customers and new suppliers
Pricing of specific product areas as defined by MD
Co-ordination of stock levels with SA with regard to customer principal
Deal with principal suppliers on commercial customer enquiries
Compilation of budgets in conjunction with MD
Materials quotations for the customer base
Attend and contribute to appropriate sales meetings, in conjunction with our principals, which are deemed in the interest of the company
Compile reports with respect to trade visits and new enquiries, allowing ease of transfer of information to the MD and ASP.
Compile reports where appropriate on commercial activity in the Irish market for our supplier base.
Assist the SA in matters dealing with commercial and logistic issues, relating to both customer base and principal supplier.
Co-ordinate strategic principal trade visits, to create an integrated relationship between Company/Client/Principal, whilst enhancing the reputation of the company in the marketplace.
Liaise in tandem with the MD to commercialise current and future technical development contracts, across the entire engineering materials portfolio.
In association with the team at the company, the SD will actively contribute to the promotion of the company and its commercial Principal Partners, by involvement in auxiliary activities e.g. IOM, UBC etc
The successful candidate can be located nationwide due to the nature of the role
