Job Description
A strong opportunity for a bright Part Qualified Accountant or Assistant Accountant to join one of Irelands leading Retail brands. This is a Hybrid role based in North West Dublin.
This is a 12-month contract and will offer the successful applicant a broad array of accounting exposure

Key responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to support the Finance Manager & wider finance team on reporting, planning and analysis for a number of entities.
- Support the preparation of quarterly & monthly Management Accounts for multiple entities in accordance with tight deadlines
- Support on detailed Profit & Loss analysis by investigating & understanding variances and add value by providing insight & commentary to the financial reports
- Responsible for ensuring period end deadlines are achieved including raising invoices, arranging recharges and General Ledger analysis
- Financial planning and budgeting support on property income and store outlay costs
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of Purchase Orders for the property function
- Identify and assess risks and inefficiency throughout the business
- Act as a point of contact for store queries
- Other Ad Hoc duties on request
Person Specification & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 -3 years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge on debits and credits
- Part Qualified Accountant e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA or relevant experience
- Ambitious self-starter with positive attitude, committed to pursuing a career in accountancy and a desire to progress within the organisation
- Hard working and ambitious
- Attention to detail with strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience in working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to agreed deadlines
- Strong communication skills will all level of stakeholders
- strong initiative and an achievement orientated approach to results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with respect to large data sets
