Job Description

Excellent contract opportunity for an innovative Learning & Development Manager with strong experience in e-learning and talent development

Learning and Development Talent Manager ( 12 Month FTC)

Location: Dublin City Centre

Salary: €82,000- 88,000

The Role:

  • Contribute to the establishment and communication of the approach and objectives for the
    Learning and Talent function as it navigates to a more digitally led model
  • Develop, monitor and act on metrics which assess the effectiveness and contribution of Learning and Talent Programmes
  • Work effectively and in partnership with the Wider HR Community and particularly with the HR Partner team to ensure Learning and Talent deliverables are aligned with business strategy and objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Directors and the Senior Leadership team to deliver their Talent
    Acquisition and Development agenda
  • Proactively engage with the market to identify key talent externally
  • Continuously review and develop People Growth methodologies and approaches that will enable the delivery of Talent Management across all levels and functions
  • As a trusted Talent expert, advise, support and enable every People Manager to be an exemplary Talent Manager
  • Partner with the business and HR Business Partner to identify and develop talent within their areas
  • Design and implement Leadership Development Programmes for people leaders at all levels that will equip them with the necessary skills to manage in the fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Support robust Leadership Development Plans for critical business roles
  • Ensure a comprehensive suite of high quality e-learning programmes are developed / made
    available through our on-line learning portal

Requirements:

  • Third level degree in Human Resources or Business related discipline or equivalent, CIPD
    qualification desirable
  • Knowledge of the development of psychometric, 360 tools and other talent management tools
  • Good understanding of a Financial Services or Bank operating environment would be an
    advantage
  • Deep expertise in Learning & Development, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition
  • Ability to structure and lead initiatives from inception through to execution, delivering clear business benefits and innovative, business focused solutions
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, and management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality
  • Project or programme management skills
  • Proven ability of delivering to challenging targets / plans
  • Track record of coordinating and managing complex cross-functional projects
  • Clear track record of working effectively in fast paced situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters
  • Ability to work effectively at senior levels across a Business, being seen as a 'trusted advisor'
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of digital and elearning platforms
