Job Description

We are now partnering with a leading Biopharma company in a number of locations across Ireland. Exciting new role as Director, Demand Management.

Position Summary

This position will work independently to lead our clients Global Demand Planning team, providing timely key business insights and analyses to executive leadership and to key stakeholder functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the management and execution of all Global Demand Planning activity
  • Drive the creation of a strategic roadmap for Global Demand Planning activity which ensures that there is a proactive approach in place to develop the optimal & compliant demand planning solutions for our patients
  • Develop strong business partnerships and engagement with leaders across multiple key stakeholder funxtions including Commercial, Finance, Clinical Supply, Planning, Market Access, Medical Affairs and key stakeholders
  • Provide timely business insights and analyses in support of multiple ad-hoc initiatives and analyses including Business Development activities
  • Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement in the Demand Planning network, which enables the speedy proliferation of information which supports real time decision making
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve Demand Planning processes, partnering with the other key stakeholders to implement potential improvements
  • Setup a standard platform and system which can be scaled to provide a single source of truth for a growing global business
  • Develop, continuously improve and implement standardized, Global Demand Planning processes, policies and procedures
  • Proactively identify changes in internal and external business conditions which will impact upon the global demand planning model and quickly ensure that required changes are put in place
  • Enable the IBP process become a truly integrated business management process through which the executive/leadership team continually achieves focus, alignment and synchronization among all functions of the organization
  • Implement closed loop reporting will improve accuracy of demand forecasting process and lead to better decision making insights
  • Drive the strategic execution of multiple programs
  • Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting processes to provide timely insights and analyses to key stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar or related role
  • Ability to execute on multiple strategic programs
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills with proven ability to influence at executive level
  • Proven experience at a global scale, playing a significant role in the leadership of cutting edge performance
  • Ability to proactively plan and deliver key inputs and insights to support the Strategic Planning process
  • Excellent understanding of commercial business processes, process improvements and automation
  • Passionate, innovative, best practice focus to deliver best in class service to our patients
  • Proven track record in Planning &/or Finance Leadership Positions
  • String analytical ability to convert data into key business insights
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to effective lead and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Experience with SAP and the use of technology solutions to manage analytics
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross functional global teams with a strong working knowledge of supply chain management
  • Proven track record of operating effectively at Director level
  • Previous experience in the technology area - providing software solutions, ERP and automation of cross functional processes
  • Knowledge of quality and regulatory issues as they relate to biotechnology supply chain
