Customs Clearance Clerks required in Dublin for a global logistics provider who has experienced a great deal of growth in the last number of months
My client, an Irish owned International Shipping Company is looking to take on several Customs Clearance professionals to build a new team in preparation for Brexit. Due to the nature of the role, these positions can be worked remotely from home, in the office in Cork or in their Dublin office also, but training and induction will take place in Cork.
Run all activities associated with processing customs documentation
Work closely with colleagues throughout the business and externally to advise and support them in custom related matters
Prepare necessary import documentation such as certificates of origin and cargo control document
Processing import/export consignments as required
Ensure compliance with company procedures and Irish Revenue
Communicate with both Port & Revenue authorities
Process all data entry requirements ensuring that they are completed correctly and on time
Assist with monthly reports and retrieval of information
Previous experience in freight forwarding / Customs Clearance is highly desirable
Customs experience preferred but not essential
Accuracy and attention to detail is crucial
Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language, both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure and to the highest of standards
