Customer Service Representative - Personal Lines

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for a Customer Service - Personal Lines role. Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage firm, is looking for dedicated professionals to join their team.

With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and offering a diverse range of insurance solutions, including home, travel, car, and commercial insurance, as well as life and pension products, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow and excel.

As a Customer Service - Personal Lines representative, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include addressing customer queries, driving sales, and contributing to our goal of consistently exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries.
  • Articulate and promote the unique benefits of our insurance offerings to both current and potential customers.
  • Skillfully handle objections and close sales effectively.
  • Actively pursue leads provided by the marketing team.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant customer record-keeping in line with GDPR guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain client accounts, ensuring the accuracy of customer documentation.
  • Handle renewals and mid-term adjustments with precision.
  • Respond to incoming sales and customer service calls.
  • Capture vital customer information, including contact details.
  • Proactively monitor and update customer details as required.
  • Regularly report rate increases and gather customer feedback for review.
  • Embody the core values of our organization and serve as a brand ambassador

Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates should hold Grandfathered, APA, or CIP qualifications, with CPD aligned with Minimum Competency requirements.
  • Proficiency in Applied Systems
  • Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Previous sales training is advantageous
  • Minimum 1+ years of sales or customer service experience in an insurance brokerage
