Job Description

Our banking client, based in Dublin 2, is looking for Customer Service Agents to operate within their Customer Contact Centre, to help support a customer focused PSD2 online banking project.

Customer Service Agent (6 week contract)

Our banking client, based in Dublin 2, is looking for Customer Service Agents to operate within their Customer Contact Centre, to help support a customer focused PSD2 online banking project.

You will be interacting with Customers over the phone to identify and then proactively seek solutions to their online banking queries. The successful candidates must be available to start work at the beginning of January 2021 and be willing and able to interview at short notice.

Your responsibilities

Identify Customer issues from in-bound calls and proactively seek solutions

Efficiently and effectively manage Customer contact through all channels

Continuously champion the Customer

Adhere to all performance metrics to support the department in the achievement of business goals

Advocate all digital channels as appropriate to every Customer

Requirements - what we need from you!

Minimum of 1-2 years working in a fast paced Customer service environment.

Ordinary Leaving Certificate (or international equivalent) with minimum pass in English & Maths, or, by possessing a Level 7 Degree or higher

Proficiency in English, verbally and written

Excellent communication and social skills

Strong interpersonal and rapport building skills are essential

A passion for exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent customer service

Takes ownership of queries from start to finish with good attention to detail and strong problem solving skills

Applicants need to be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required as part of rotating shift pattern

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

A confident common sense approach to problems solving with a strong 'can-do' attitude.

Desirable Skills

Previous customer service experience in a banking environment is highly desirable

Previous experience taking customer calls via the phone is also highly desirable.
