Job Description

This is an exciting 6 month contract for an experienced Communications and Engagement Specialist to join a large Global healthcare company.

Job title: Communication and Engagement Specialist

Location: Dublin South

Duration: 6 months contract (possibility of extension)

Salary: €77-88k per annum

This Global Healthcare company is looking for an experienced Communication and Engagement Specialist to join their growing team. The successful candidate will build and implement the external communications and engagement strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and implement the communication and engagement strategy and capabilities to establish and enhance the company's external reputation.

  • Lead global efforts to create and advance the story/narrative and visual brand experience.

  • Prepare, advise and support external communication and engagement activities including publication, conceptual planning and implementation of regular communication and engagement.

  • Collaborate closely with and equip Leadership with storytelling and impactful presentation skills and share best practice and learnings with Leadership.

  • Build and implement a multi-channel, strategic communication program; Guiding the social media presence of the Leadership team; Securing attendance and lead speaker roles for Leadership at key industry conferences etc.

  • Anticipate and manage risk to the company's reputation; advise management of reputational risk associated with specific activity.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensure consistency of the brand position in all external communications activity.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in similar roles (PR &/ or Content Creation)

  • Experience working in Tech companies or the Pharmaceutical industry.

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Business Fluent English both written and spoken (C2 level) is necessary.

  • Public relations and Change management experience.

  • Commercial Mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management.
